Just went ahead Putting The Cockpit Rail Back (Mostly) tonight. It looks as though the gluing activity went fine and although there are a few little wrinkles on the curves I think this will be fine.
I have get to do the last couple of nuts back up yet – need to get an extra nut from Sears and also need to decide how the right way to connect to the fittings just behind the door. It seems to be one way on the 77 I am looking at as an example yet I have extension pieces for the 72 so may leave that for a Monday night confirmation session (along with the door top rails which I have to recover).
